Social Justice
Unfortunately, it's true. Sin and evil constitute bad news in every area of life on this planet. Our world is a mess. There are huge segments of society that barely make it by; widows, orphans, immigrants, the poor. But, by God's incredible grace we have a gospel big enough to redeem all that sin and evil has touched. Social justice is about helping those who are on the bottom rung of society, and flows out of God's love for humanity.
The job is big enough that community outreach and social justice cannot be the responsibility of any one individual. But it is certainly the responsibility of the whole church. We need people to drive buses, visit nursing homes and serve at the soup kitchens. The list is endless. But this is how we build God's Kingdom!
